This is one of my favorite photos because it gets everyone moving, smiling and not looking at the camera. It’s always fun to get everyone walking away as well as walking back together. Often, we even add in swinging the kids between you, which brings out giggles and pure joy. This shot can be fun for both small and large families.

Sandy clothes aren’t everyone’s favorite, so I always bring a blanket! Having the family sit close together on the blanket allows for sweet, cozy shots without the mess. Younger kids can sit on laps, while older siblings lean in together, making it a relaxed and connected photo.
