Chris and Renee’s love story has been 19 years in the making. So, when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew exactly what they wanted, something meaningful, personal, and full of joy. With Chris’s family home in Englewood and a memorable surprise proposal on nearby Manasota Key, a beach wedding just made sense. When they toured the Lido Key Beach Resort, it instantly felt like the perfect fit. With stunning Gulf views, a gorgeous beach, and an outdoor space ideal for celebrating, they could already envision their dream day unfolding.

From the start, they made the day truly their own. After sharing a relaxed breakfast together that morning, Renee headed off to get ready while Chris took a quick swim to cool off. Before the ceremony, they gathered with their children and grandchildren in their suite to exchange heartfelt gifts, sip champagne, and share a few quiet moments as a family.

Their beach ceremony was filled with sweet, personal touches. Chris was proudly walked down the aisle by his daughters, and Renee was escorted by her sons. Their grandchildren took on the role of “Security” as ring bearers (serious faces and all) and loved every second of it. Surrounded by loved ones, Chris and Renee promised to continue to love each other forever.

Every detail of this Lido Key Beach Resort wedding was thoughtfully planned and joyfully celebrated. From the emotional moments to the dance floor fun, it was a day full of laughter, love, and everything they had dreamed of for nearly two decades.
