ENGLEWOOD BEACH ENGAGEMENT

Tommy and Jes were heading to Englewood for a visit with her grandparents, but Tommy had a much bigger plan in mind. He called me in advance, determined to make their Englewood Beach engagement a moment Jes would never forget. With just a few ideas, we crafted the perfect surprise proposal, laid-back, beautiful, and full of meaning.

I arrived early and set up nearby with a beach blanket, camera ready, pretending to be just another beachgoer. Mike lingered at the entrance of the beach and watched them walk from the parking lot, down to the water. As they strolled along the shoreline looking for shark’s teeth, Tommy suddenly dropped to one knee.

Jes was stunned. Her reaction was pure magic. Shock, joy, disbelief, and love all written across her face. She couldn’t believe what was happening, and in those first few moments, she was so caught up in the proposal that she didn’t even notice we were there capturing it all.

Once the surprise settled in, the celebration began. We spent the next half hour taking candid, romantic photos of the newly engaged couple. Jes couldn’t stop looking at her ring, or at Tommy. They splashed in the water, shared kisses, and walked the beach together, glowing as the sun dipped below the horizon.
