I’m Stephanie, and my husband Mike and I photograph families on Boca Grande. We’ll meet you at your condo, your home, the Inn, or your favorite beach for your session. We keep things moving so the little ones stay happy and nobody has to hold a smile.

Whether it’s wardrobe suggestions, picking a great location, or preplanning what you want to hang on your wall, I’m here every step of the way.

Have a Fun Session

We’ll capture as many different family combinations as you want. We generally start with the big group photo, then photograph smaller family groupings. I’ll capture candid moments in between, because that’s when kids are really themselves. My husband Mike will keep your husband entertained as I take, “One more shot!”

Download Your Gallery

Your best images will be ready in about a week. You can then download your photographs, and we’ll talk about any images you want to have displayed in your home. Many families purchase an album so they can see their favorite family photos every day.

Family sessions begin at $1000, with most families investing $1500 – $2900 in their portrait experience, including an heirloom photo album. Whether it’s an intimate beach session or a multi-generational gathering, we’ll create a personalized experience that beautifully captures your family’s story.   • I’m a (former) PADI Scuba Instructor and I’ve done about 10,000 dives
  • I have a 100 ton captain’s license and used to drive a dive boat
  • I grew up in Michigan (and have Midwestern values) but I’ve been to all 50 states and lived in 4 countries

The golden hour, just after sunrise or just before sunset, provides soft, warm light. As an experienced Boca Grande Florida photographer who photographs mostly at the beaches, shoots are scheduled either first thing in the morning or the last hour before sunset. While most families choose a sunset beach session, families with young children often like the morning sessions because their babies are more alert.

As local Boca Grande wedding photographers, I’m happy to share some insight.

Boca Grande is home to some of Florida’s most timeless and elegant wedding venues. The iconic Gasparilla Inn & Club offers a classic, historic setting with impeccable service and ceremony spaces ranging from the grand lawn to beachfront views. For a more coastal feel, the Boca Bay Pass Club provides a stunning Gulf-front backdrop and flexible reception options. Couples also love the charm of the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse for intimate ceremonies, surrounded by natural beauty. For smaller weddings or elopements, the soft sands of Sandspur Beach and select public beach accesses offer privacy and romance without the formality of a resort setting. Whether you’re planning a grand affair or a quiet exchange of vows, the island offers unforgettable places to say, “I do.”

I’m following the current updates to the parking on Boca Grande and I don’t typically use beach access to streets 1-19, so this doesn’t affect us. Although there is a 3-hour parking limit in town, we aren’t there that long. The state park at the end of the island is open, and there are three other state park parking lots, including the tall lighthouse for us to use. Please be aware that these parking lots are $3 each and are payable on an app. In short, these tightening restrictions have not affected our photo sessions.

For beach settings: light neutral colors like white, beige, blue or soft pastels compliment the coastal surroundings.

YES! As full-service Boca Grande FL photographers, we love creating custom art for your home. Whether it’s an heirloom photo album or canvases for your wall, each piece is crafted just for you!

It’s best to book at least 1-2 months in advance for family sessions and surprise proposals. For wedding photography, we suggest you book 9-12 months in advance to secure your date. Holidays and peak weeks fill early, so book as soon as you know your dates. All sessions are confirmed upon a signed contract and first payment.

Florida weather can be unpredictable, especially during rainy season. When possible, I offer rescheduling due to rain or storms but it’s always smart to plan your session at the beginning of your vacation instead of at the end.

My style is true-to-color and heartfelt. I focus on capturing genuine emotion and natural connection in beautiful light. I primarily shoot using natural light to preserve the real mood and beauty of each setting. But I also incorporate off-camera lighting at sunset to preserve the richness of real skies and our beautiful Gulf sunsets. The result is photographs that feel as real and vibrant as your memories.
