CASEY KEY FAMILY SESSION

This Casey Key family session was one I won’t forget! Kimberly reached out while planning a special holiday visit with her extended family because she knew it was the perfect time to capture portraits of all four generations together. From grandparents to grandkids, everyone was gathered at Casey Key Resorts Beachfront, making it an ideal setting for a meaningful and memorable photo session.

We kept a close eye on the weather, as clouds rolled in and distant storms hovered offshore. With a limited window before the rain arrived, we jumped into action as soon as the kids were ready. The energy was high, and the little ones were full of personality (and wiggles!). Thankfully, Mike was there to keep them engaged and smiling, and we even had all seven grandkids looking at the camera at the same time, which any photographer knows is a small miracle.

We moved quickly, capturing a variety of groupings and combinations that Kimberly had hoped for: grandparents with grandkids, cousins together, siblings, and several big group photos that showed just how much love this family shares. Even with the weather pressing in, we managed to photograph every moment she wanted, and it was a joy to watch how everyone came together with laughter, patience, and lots of love.

Family sessions like this are such a beautiful reminder that portraits aren’t just about perfect lighting or smiles, they’re about freezing a moment in time with the people who matter most. Scroll down to see some of the highlights from this special Casey Key family session.
