CASEY KEY SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT

Katlyn’s mother reached out to me because she was helping to plan her daughter’s Casey Key surprise engagement on the beach. Jzavion & Katlyn were coming down to spend a week at an Airbnb on Casey Key, and Jzavion knew this was the perfect time to propose. Under the guise of a “regular” couple’s session, we came to their home for the planned photoshoot. After talking for a few minutes, we took some pictures around the pool and property before heading down to the beach. We continued to take photos and when the time was right, I made sure Katlyn was turned away from Jzavion so he could pull the ring out and get in position.

Needless to say, when she turned around, she was stunned. She said “YES!” immediately and started tearing up in happiness. I pulled out some tissues that I always keep on hand for these occasions, and we were ready to start shooting again. The second surprise came when both of their families showed up on the beach to help them celebrate. She didn’t know that everyone had flown in just to share in the celebration.
