CASPERSEN BEACH SENIOR SESSION

When Melissa and Erin planned a visit to Venice to see family, they knew it was also the perfect time to schedule Erin’s senior photos. They liked the rocky shoreline and natural beauty of Caspersen Beach, so we headed there for an evening of fun. We started this Caspersen Beach senior session just before golden hour, surrounded by tall sea oats. This provided a bit of privacy for Erin while giving us a completely different look from the typical beach setting. Erin was a little nervous at first (which is completely normal!), but after a few simple posing tips and some encouragement from her mom and aunt, she quickly found her rhythm. Her natural smile and easy laughter made capturing her spirit such a joy.

She leaned into the experience, making a quick outfit change halfway through, from casual and fun to something a little dressier. We took a few playful shots by a palm tree with the Gulf sparkling behind her, then moved to the boardwalk where the sunlight lit her face with that perfect golden-hour glow.

As the sun dipped lower, we finished the evening on the rocks. Erin climbed onto the boulders at the water’s edge, and the sunset behind her was just breathtaking.
