Grandma, why haven't I ever seen your wedding photos...
I asked her a few years before she passed away. "We never had any taken" she replied and my heart broke. Two of my favorite people in the world, who are part of the reason I'm here, didn't have the most important day of their lives photographed.
I knew then that I wanted to be a photographer, to make sure other families could share and show their families' story.
I love family photography because I work with so many multigenerational families. Grandparents that live here who's children and often grandchildren come to visit. Each family reminds me of my childhood coming to Englewood.Â
It fulfills me being a wedding photographer because I want to make sure every couple has their love captured for eternity. Wedding photography doesn't just capture one day in your life, it should capture the essence of who you are together and the life you want to live.
