I smiled and told her, "Robin, we've got this. Just get everyone to show up and we'll handle the rest. We'll get those classic, beautiful family portraits you're dreaming of, and when the kids get restless, we'll capture those playful, real moments that show who they truly are."
By the end of the session, Robin was elated. "I can't believe we pulled it off!" she said, laughing. "You got every single shot we wanted-and even ones I didn't think of. The kids had so much fun, and we really enjoyed it too!"
Hearing those words is why I became a photographer. Capturing the smiles, laughter, and love that make a family unique is everything to me. Growing up our walls were filled with family photos and albums bursting with memories. Every year, we'd add to them, knowing they'd only grow more precious as time passed.Â
As photographers in Englewood Florida, we love helping families do the same-bringing generations together to create photos that tell their story and will be treasured for years to come.
Childhood is a beautiful, fleeting chapter filled with laughter, growth, and precious moments that pass too quickly. We celebrate the love and connection within your family, creating images that will bring smiles and happy family memories.

Englewood Fl offers a blend of natural beauty and diverse backdrops, from the sands of Englewood Beach to the shaded trails of Lemon Bay Park. It’s an ideal destination for creating memories surrounded by the Gulf Coast’s stunning scenery. Whether you're looking for an engagement photographer, wedding photographer or Englewood family photographer, we offer custom packages for every client.
Some of the top spots include:
Manasota Beach: Known for its relaxed vibes and shark teeth.
Blind Pass Beach: Perfect for families or couples seeking a quieter setting. With plentiful parking, it's my preferred beach for photoshoots on the island.
Stump Pass Beach State Park: Offers scenic trails and secluded spots for a more private experience.
Englewood Beach: The main beach on the island. Unfortunately, right now it's closed as the town recovers from the Hurricanes this summer.
The golden hour, just after sunrise or before sunset, provides soft, warm light that enhances the natural beauty of Englewood’s beaches and parks. For cooler temperatures, early mornings are ideal, especially during summer. As a beach photographer, shoots are scheduled either first thing in the morning or within an hour of sunset. While most families choose sunset, families with young children usually like the morning because their babies are more alert in the morning. Florida has harsh light during the middle of the day, so if that's the time you prefer, we need to find a place with trees and shade. As an experienced photographer in Englewood Florida, we'll work together to decide the best time for your shoot.
No. We are lucky that no permits are required for photoshoots or beach weddings.
For beach settings: Light, neutral colors like white, beige, blues or soft pastels complement the coastal surroundings.
For park settings: Earthy tones like olive green, tan, or denim create a natural look.
Comfortable but cute footwear is recommended. At the beach, we'll usually start with photos on a boardwalk before moving to the beach. Once we get to the beach, most families choose to go barefoot.
Englewood beaches do not allow pets, so you'll have to leave your furry friend home. The parks are pet friendly, so you can bring your animal. Please let me know beforehand though so I'm prepared.
Florida’s summer weather can be unpredictable, but rescheduling or adjusting times is always an option. We'll stay in touch leading up to your shoot and if the weather looks questionable, we can decide to try it or postpone (based on availability). In 5 years and hundreds of shoots, I've only had to reschedule twice.
Spring & Summer: Expect vibrant greenery and bright skies but prepare for warmer temperatures. Wear lightweight clothes and preferably quick dry materials for men's clothes.
Fall & Winter: Cooler weather makes outdoor sessions more comfortable, with softer lighting for a classic look. It can be cool and windy on the beach November through February, so check the daily temperature and bring a light coat or shawl if it's going to be cool.
It’s best to book at least 1-2 months in advance for family and engagement sessions. For weddings or special events, reserving 9-12 months ahead is recommended to secure your date. All sessions are confirmed upon a signed contract and first payment.
