LEMON BAY PARK ENGAGEMENT

Nina and Tommy were planning a beautiful destination wedding in Mexico, but when it came time for their engagement photos, they wanted something a little closer to home, and a little different than the usual beach session. Having spent years living in Englewood and Venice, they wanted a spot that felt local, natural, and meaningful. A Lemon Bay Park engagement session was the perfect location.

Tucked away along the Intracoastal Waterway, Lemon Bay Park offers a peaceful escape with its quiet trails, native Florida foliage, and just the right touch of that “Old Florida” charm. Nina and Tommy, both busy professionals, welcomed the chance to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy each other’s company during their session. The relaxed setting gave them room to breathe, laugh, and be fully present with one another, which is exactly what every engagement session should feel like.

We wandered along a section of the park’s two-mile trail system, stopping often to take in the natural beauty around us. Some of the areas still showed signs of Hurricane Ian’s impact, with downed trees and new light filtering through the canopy, but it only added to the vibe of their photos. The contrast of nature’s resilience and their genuine connection made the images all the more special.

More than just a location, Lemon Bay Park gave Nina and Tommy a backdrop that felt personal and grounded, something that reflected not just where they live, but who they are as a couple.
