LEMON BAY PARK

Are you looking for a location that captures the charm of Old Florida without the sand between your toes? Lemon Bay Park in Englewood might be just what you’re after. Tucked away along the Intracoastal, this 210-acre nature park offers a peaceful and scenic setting that’s perfect for families, couples, or even senior portraits who want something a little more woodsy and relaxed than the beach.

With over three miles of winding trails, moss-draped oak trees, wooden bridges, and quiet benches along the way, Lemon Bay Park feels like a hidden gem. It’s especially beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon, when the sun filters through the trees.

While the main entrance off Brengle Avenue leads to the community center and larger walking loops, I prefer to meet clients at the Caples Street entrance. It drops you right into one of my favorite sections of the park, with old trees that photograph beautifully.

Whether you’re looking for a laid-back family session or a romantic couples shoot in a peaceful outdoor setting, Lemon Bay Park is a wonderful alternative to the beach. Scroll through to see examples of past sessions in this gorgeous park, and let’s plan something special under the trees!
