MAGNOLIAS ON THE BAY WEDDING

From the moment Carla and Bradley met in a yoga class in Venice, there was an undeniable connection. Their relationship unfolded effortlessly, and it didn’t take long before they both knew this was something lasting. When it came time to plan their wedding, they envisioned an intimate afternoon surrounded by water, nature, and their closest people. A Magnolias on the Bay wedding was the perfect solution. With its serene waterfront ceremony space and the comfort of a private reception right inside the restaurant, it was exactly what they wanted.

As their wedding photographer, I loved how personal and relaxed their day felt from beginning to end. They chose to keep the guest list small, just immediate family and a few close friends, which gave the entire day an intentional, unhurried energy. The ceremony was simple and beautiful, with heartfelt words and lots of emotion. Afterward, we stepped beneath the Banyan tree out front for family portraits—its natural canopy creating soft, shaded light that brought out the warmth of every connection.

Inside, the celebration continued with a delicious lunch and a lovely cake, surrounded by laughter and quiet joy. But one of my favorite parts of the day came later, when everyone regrouped for a sunset session at Englewood Beach. The break between events gave Carla and Bradley time to truly enjoy their day, and when we met at the drum circle that evening, the light was absolutely magical.

There’s something special about being able to photograph both the tender, quiet moments and the golden, glowing ones that come as the day winds down. For Carla and Bradley, this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a reflection of who they are, grounded, joyful, and deeply connected.
