Whether it’s wardrobe suggestions, picking a great location, or preplanning what you want to hang on your wall, I’m here every step of the way.

Have a Fun Session

We’ll capture as many different family combinations as you want. We generally start with the big group photo, then photograph smaller family groupings. I’ll capture candid moments in between, because that’s when kids are really themselves. My husband Mike will keep your husband entertained as I take, “One more shot!”

Download Your Gallery

Your best images will be ready in about a week. You can then download your photographs, and we’ll talk about any images you want to have displayed in your home. Many families purchase an album so they can see their favorite family photos every day.

Family sessions begin at $1000, with most families investing $1500 – $2900 in their portrait experience, including an heirloom album. Whether it’s an intimate beach session or a multi-generational gathering, we’ll create a personalized experience that beautifully captures your family’s story. FUN FACTS

that you’d never guess about me…

I’m a (former) PADI Scuba Instructor and I’ve done about 10,000 dives
I have a 100-ton captain’s license and used to drive a dive boat
I’m originally from Michigan (and have Mid-Western values) but I’ve been to all 50 states and lived in 4 countries
I’ve photographed more than 400 families, 75 weddings and 60 engagement sessions, and 70 surprise proposals in the last eight years. Plus, as a Palm Island surprise proposal photographer, I have a 100% success rate of saying “YES” for surprise proposals!

It’s important to hire a photographer that is familiar with the intricacies of the island. We love the blend of natural beauty and diverse backdrops, from Stump Pass Beach to the boardwalks and ponds. Whether you’re looking for a Palm Island surprise proposal photographer, Palm Island wedding photographer or Palm Island family photographer, we offer custom packages for every client.

Many families do and it’s one of my favorite parts of being a photographer on Palm Island. We can revisit the same spots for then vs now photos or try somewhere new.

Top spots include: Stump Pass Beach by the infamous tree, the ponds and trees around Palm Island Resort, and the boardwalks that go to the beaches

If you’re staying at the resort, I’ll text you as we’re crossing the ferry and you can simply pick us up in the resort parking lot in your golf cart. If you’re not at the resort, we’ll meet you at your home, rental or closest beach access point and have your session there.

The golden hour, just after sunrise or just before sunset, provides soft, warm light. As an experienced Palm Island Florida photographer who photographs mostly at the beaches, family sessions are scheduled either first thing in the morning or the last 90 minutes before sunset. While most families choose a sunset beach shoot, families with young children often like the morning sessions because their babies are more alert.

Of course the most popular spot is Palm Island Resort and as a preferred vendor, I’m familiar with all of the wonderful locations around the property. If you don’t want your wedding at the Resort, you can also use the public section of beaches. I know some great planners and vendors to help make your wedding dream a reality.

For beach settings: light neutral colors like white, beige, blue or soft pastels compliment the coastal surroundings.

YES! As full-service Palm Island FL photographers, we love creating custom art for your home. Whether it’s an heirloom photo album or canvases for your wall, each piece is crafted just for you!

It’s best to book at least 1-2 months in advance for family and engagement sessions. For wedding photography, we suggest you book 9-12 months in advance to secure your date. All sessions are confirmed upon a signed contract and first payment. As a preferred Palm Island Florida photographer, I want to make sure you get your desired date, so book early!

Absolutely. If you know the week your coming next year, let’s get it on the calendar. If you’re schedule changes, I’m happy to work with you to reschedule.

Florida weather can be unpredictable, especially during rainy season. When possible, I offer rescheduling due to rain or storms but it’s always smart to plan your session at the beginning of your vacation instead of at the end.

I understand! If you’re here for only a weekend (or week), I simply email you the link to your gallery when it’s ready. Depending on your package, you can then simply download, print and share as you like.
