SIESTA KEY FAMILY SESSION

Ellen and Dan’s family traveled all the way from Indiana for a week of sunshine and sand on beautiful Siesta Key. They rented a stunning beachfront home, the perfect place to start their Siesta Key family photo session. With the whole crew together, including nine young grandchildren (all under the age of four!) and brand-new twin baby girls, it was a joyful mix of energy, laughter, and a little bit of chaos of the best kind.

We started the photo session in front of the seagrasses, where the soft light added a lovely warmth to their portraits. Between standing together and sitting on a cozy blanket, we captured all the family combinations they hoped for. From big group shots to sweet, candid snuggles, the little ones kept us moving and calling out their names to keep their attention!

As the evening went on, we made our way down to the white sand beach Siesta Key is known for and water’s edge just in time for sunset. The Gulf glowed in golden light, and the family gathered close for a few final portraits. There were plenty of giggles as parents lifted and spun their children in the air. The sky lit up in soft pinks and oranges, the perfect ending to a fun-filled evening. By the time we wrapped up, everyone was sandy, happy, and ready to head back to their beach house with happy hearts and empty bellies. This Siesta Key family photo session was everything I love about photographing families, real smiles, beautiful light, and moments they’ll treasure for years to come.
