You’re all coming together. The kids, grandkids, grandma and grandpa and the new baby that everyone is excited to see. You’ve been looking forward to this week for months and in the back of your mind you think, we need a picture of everyone together!
I’m Stephanie Snow, a Siesta Key family photographer who works with grandparents (and busy moms!) hosting exactly this kind of week. I’ve photographed reunions up to 50 people at once and everyone has a great time. I work with my husband, so one of us can keep the little ones entertained, smiling and looking at the camera when needed. We keep the session moving so by the end, you have the pictures everyone asked for, plus the one of your grandchildren on your shoulders that nobody planned.

As a Siesta Key family photographer, we specialize in beach photography, usually around sunset! Most sessions start an hour before sunset to take advantage of the best light of the day, and of course we hope for a colorful sky.

Every session is customized for you. I work with all sizes of families, from couples to multi-generational families, to create portraits you’ll cherish.

Have a Fun Session

We’ll capture as many different family combinations as you want. We generally start with the big group photo, then photograph smaller family groupings. I’ll capture candid moments in between, because that’s when kids are really themselves. My husband Mike will keep your husband entertained as I take, “One more shot!”

Download Your Gallery

Your curated collection of best images will be ready in about a week. You can then download your photographs, and we’ll talk about any images you want to have displayed in your home. Many families purchase an album so they can see their favorite family photos every day.

Family sessions start at $1000, with the option to add a hand-crafted family album for $800-$1500. I’m a (former) PADI Scuba Instructor and I’ve done about 10,000 dives
I have a 100 ton captain’s license and used to drive a dive boat
I’m from Michigan (and have Midwestern values) but I’ve been to all 50 states and lived in 4 countries
I’ve photographed more than 400 families, 75 weddings, 60 engagement sessions and 70 surprise proposals in the last eight years. Plus, as a Siesta Key surprise proposal photographer, I have a 100% success rate of her saying “YES”!

Siesta Key is one of the top-rated beaches in the U.S and we LOVE the white sand there. Whether you’re looking for a Siesta Key engagement photographer, Siesta Key wedding photographer or Siesta Key family photography – we offer custom packages for every client.

Top Siesta Key photography spots include: Public Beach Access 8 and Siesta Key beach which have gorgeous quartz white sand. For a little quieter location, Turtle Beach is nice. We’re happy to meet you at your condo on the beach and photograph at the location that’s easiest for you.

The golden hour, just after sunrise or just before sunset, provides soft, warm light. As an experienced Siesta Key Fl photographer who photographs mostly at the beaches, shoots are scheduled either first thing in the morning or the last hour before sunset. While most families choose a sunset beach session, families with young children often like the morning sessions because their babies are more alert.

We are lucky that no permits are required for most photoshoots. But depending on the size of your wedding, you may need a permit to set up arches and chairs.

My style is true-to-color, timeless, and heartfelt. I focus on capturing genuine emotion and natural connection in beautiful light. I primarily shoot using natural light to preserve the real mood and beauty of each setting. But I also incorporate off-camera lighting at sunset to preserve the richness of real skies and our beautiful Gulf sunsets. The result is photos that feel as real and vibrant as your memories.

Light neutral colors like white, beige, blue or soft pastels compliment the coastal surroundings.

Your viewing gallery will be ready in about a week. You will get an email link and private password. Depending on which digital package you purchased, you will be able to download those photos directly to your computer.

YES! As full-service Siesta Key Florida photographers, we love creating custom art for you. Whether it’s an heirloom photo album or canvases for your wall, each piece is crafted just for you! Let me know if you’re interested in wall art and I will bring samples to show you after our shoot.

It’s best to book at least 1-2 months in advance for family, engagement photography and surprise proposals. For wedding photography, we suggest you book 9-12 months in advance to secure your date. All sessions are confirmed upon a signed contract and first payment. As a preferred Siesta Key Fl photographer, I want to make sure you get your desired date, so book early!
