I’m Stephanie Snow, a Venice family photographer who works with grandparents (and busy moms!) hosting exactly this kind of week. I’ve photographed reunions up to 50 people at once and everyone has a great time. I work with my husband, so one of us can keep the little ones entertained, smiling and looking at the camera when needed. We keep the session moving so by the end, you have the pictures everyone asked for, plus the one of your grandchildren on your shoulders that nobody planned.

Have a Fun Session

We’ll capture as many different family combinations as you want. We generally start with the big group photo, then photograph smaller family groupings. I’ll capture candid moments in between, because that’s when kids are really themselves. My husband Mike will keep your husband entertained as I take, “One more shot!”

Download Your Gallery

Your best images will be ready in about a week. You can then download your photographs, and we’ll talk about any images you want to have displayed in your home. Many families purchase an album so they can see their favorite family photos every day.

Family sessions start at $1000, with the option to add a hand-crafted photo album for $800-$1400. Whether it’s an intimate couple’s session or a multi-generational gathering, we’ll create a personalized experience that beautifully captures your family’s story.   • I’m a (former) PADI Scuba Instructor and I’ve done about 10,000 dives
  • I have a 100 ton captain’s license and used to drive a dive boat
  • I grew up in Michigan (and have Midwestern values) but I’ve been to all 50 states and lived in 4 countries
  • I’ve photographed more than 400 families, 75 weddings, 60 engagement sessions and 70 surprise proposals in the last eight years. Plus, I have a 100% success rate of her saying “YES”!

Venice offers a blend of natural beauty and diverse backdrops, from Venice beaches to the trails of Myakka State Park. Whether you’re looking for a Venice engagement photographer, Venice wedding photographer or Venice family photography – we offer custom packages for every client.

I know the soft sand may be hard to walk on. We go as slow as needed and if you let us know in advance, we’re happy to bring along a beach chair so someone can sit down.

Top Venice Florida photography spots include: Venice Beach, Venice Fishing Pier, Service Club Park and the Banyan trees downtown. For Venice engagement photography, we try to find the most secluded spots, to make it as special as we can.

The golden hour, just after sunrise or just before sunset, provides soft, warm light. As experienced Venice Fl photographers who photograph mostly at the beaches, shoots are scheduled either first thing in the morning or the last hour before sunset. While most families choose a sunset photoshoot, families with young children often like the morning sessions because their babies are more alert.

We are lucky that no permits are required for family photography although beach weddings in Venice may require one.

As Venice wedding photographers, we’re happy to share some favorite spots. Venice Yacht Club, Wellen Park, Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice Beach, Bay Preserve at Osprey, and Evie’s on the Bay are all popular options.

During the summer rainy season, I try to block off two nights in a row for your family session, just in case a last-minute storm comes through. The rest of the year, I’ll always try to move your session to another day if I have an opening. But it’s best to schedule your session at the beginning of your vacation to allow for a backup day.

For beach settings: light neutral colors like white, beige, blue or soft pastels compliment the coastal surroundings.

For a park setting: Earthy tones like green, tan and khaki look great

Venice beaches do not allow pets, so you’ll have to leave your furry friend home. The parks are pet friendly, so you can bring them there. Please let me know beforehand though so that I’m prepared.

YES! As full-service photographers, we love creating custom art for your home. Whether it’s an heirloom photo album or canvases for your wall, each piece is crafted just for you! If you live locally, I can come to your home for a design consultation and create the perfect canvas, metal art or framed photo to fit your space.

It’s best to book at least 1-2 months in advance for family and engagement sessions. For wedding photography, we suggest you book 9-12 months in advance to secure your date. All photography sessions are confirmed upon a signed contract and first payment. As a preferred Venice Fl photographer, I want to make sure you get your desired date, so book early!

My style is true-to-color and heartfelt. I focus on capturing genuine emotion and natural connection in beautiful light. I primarily shoot using natural light to preserve the real mood and beauty of each setting. But I also incorporate off-camera lighting at sunset to preserve the richness of real skies and our beautiful Gulf sunsets. The result is photographs that feel as real and vibrant as your memories.

Yes, we regularly photograph large groups from 12-50. With Mike and I there to coordinate and direct people as needed, things always run smoothly.
