After celebrating their dream wedding in Mexico with a close-knit group of loved ones, Nina and Tommy returned home to host the ultimate reception—right in their own neighborhood. As the proud owner of Villani & Co. in Wellen Park, Tommy knew exactly where the party should be. With great food, an unbeatable location, their Wellen Park wedding reception was every bit as thoughtful and joyful as their destination vows.

I first got to know Nina and Tommy during their engagement session at Lemon Bay Park. Like many couples, Tommy wasn’t too sure about being in front of the camera—but his love for Nina (and a little bit of reassurance) made all the difference. We kept the shoot light, relaxed, and fun. By the end, they both admitted it felt more like a date than a photoshoot—and the images told their love story beautifully.

When it was time for their Wellen Park wedding reception, I couldn’t wait to work with them again. We started with family portraits under the shade of the iconic tree in Canopy Green, then wandered through downtown for some just-married couple’s portraits. The energy between them was easy and genuine—exactly the kind of connection that makes photographing couples so rewarding.

From there, it was time to celebrate. The reception at Villani & Co. was full of life—custom cocktails, mouthwatering food, and a live band that kept everyone on the dance floor late into the night. Gorgeous blooms and a Champagne wall from Venetian Flowers added the perfect touch of elegance.
